Description
Valenciso Reserva 2018 is a red wine of great finesse and depth, made exclusively with Tempranillo from old vineyards located in Rioja Alta.
Created by the Valenciso Winery Company, this wine reflects the perfect balance of fruit, aging, and freshness, with a modern style deeply tied to Rioja tradition.
Fermented in cement tanks and aged for 18 months in extra-fine-grain French oak barrels, it offers a refined expression of Tempranillo, with exceptional aging potential.
Tasting Notes for Valenciso Reserva:
Appearance: Bright cherry color with a garnet rim, clean and medium-high depth.
Nose: Elegant and complex aromas of ripe red fruit, dried flowers, fine spices, cocoa, and subtle notes of cedar and tobacco, with a distinctive mineral background.
Palate: Silky mid-palate, with fine and perfectly integrated tannins. Balanced, fresh, and with great persistence. Long finish with hints of berries, liquorice and a very pleasant balsamic touch.
