Chateau Raymond-Lafon Sauternes 2007

Chateau Raymond-Lafon Sauternes is a wine made from Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon by Chateau Raymond-Lafon Viticulteur in Sauternes (Bordeaux).

An unclassified cru with the quality of a top-level grand cru, Raymond Lafon evokes the iconic splendour of its neighbour Yquem. Characterised by very low yields, the wine has become one of the greatest in the appellation.

This delicious, almost syrupy dessert wine is powerful, very rich and complex. A very fine wine.

Under a beautiful yellow dress, you can discover a fine and unctuous traditional Sauternes, final and creamy, very long on the palate, with exotic flavours of grapefruit, pineapple, banana, vanilla, apricot, candied lemon, or even spices, plum or honey depending on the vintage.
