Clynelish Estuchado Special Release 2022 is part of a limited annual collection of natural cask strength Scotch Whiskies from the original distilleries. Released annually since 2001, the collection has developed into a series of revered and highly regarded whiskies that continue to be highly sought after.

For this Special Releases collection, the master blender has wandered among incomparable reserves and let his imagination run free, pushing the boundaries of flavour through unique cask finishes and remarkable craftsmanship. Each of the Single Malt Scotch Whiskies in the collection expresses a particular character, inspired by the mythical creatures that inhabit the lands surrounding each distillery.

Legend has it that Clynelish was once struck by an epic blizzard. The storm's unnatural cold put the precious casks at risk of certain ruin - their contents frozen in the icy winds. Until a mysterious feline creature silently appeared, and insensitive to the harsh temperatures, set its hypnotic golden eyes on the barrels, enveloping them in magical warmth.
