Compass Box The Spice Tree

Compass Box The Spices Tree is a combination of single malts of three distilleries: Clynelish (Fruity), Dailuaine (body) and Teaninich (aroma) of about 10 years.

For its ageing no is used neither artificial dye nor cold filtering, the whisky ripe in American oak casks of first and second use of ex-bourbon during the first ripening process. In the second part of the aged, hybrid barrels are Utilzan, with the bottom with three different types of roasting, this last part of the maturation lasts a minimum of two years. 

In Compass Box they are defined as "whiskymakers"o "whiskey manufacturers, a word they have invented to define someone who feels need and obligation to improve things: ask questions, challenge, experiment.
