Dom Pérignon Vintage 2012 is the new vintage of the Cuvee Prestige champagne produced by the prestigious Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy group. It is the best-known and best-selling luxury champagne in the world.
Dom Pérignon Vintage is made exclusively from the best grapes from the best single year Gran Crus (best plots), reinventing itself by interpreting the unique character of the seasons and daring not to make a Vintage if the vintage does not meet high expectations. After a minimum of eight years of cellar ageing, the wine achieves the perfect balance that Dom Pérignon represents, its greatest promise. This is Dom Pérignon Vintage: the fullness of harmony.
Tasting Notes of Dom Pérignon Vintage 2012
Full and varied, with a blend of flowers and fruit, followed by vegetal and mineral notes. The bouquet is tactile and subtly seduces us with a touch of white flowers and apricot, followed by the freshness of rhubarb and mint and the minerality of ash. White pepper.
Energy dominates the palate. After a welcoming opening, the wine quickly becomes vibrant, then literally explodes with a surge of effervescence and a tonic sensation. The finish, which converges on sour and bitter notes, conveys a penetrating firmness, marked by ginger, tobacco and a toasty aroma.
