Dom Pérignon Vintage 1992 Plénitude P3
D.O Champagne
Pinot Noir Chardonnay
Description
P3 symbolizes the Second Plénitude of Dom Pérignon and is the result of 18 years of development.
The result is indescribable and incomparable — an intense, vibrant, and precise wine. Crafted in a geographic area like Champagne, with such extreme and limited climate conditions, producing these champagnes from the best vintages is a true challenge.
After three consecutive years of spring frosts, the vines finally flourished under mild conditions. The early and uniform flowering extended from late May in the Côtes des Blancs to mid-June in the pinot meunier vineyards. The warm, sunny summer was interrupted only by a few isolated hailstorms. The harvest began on September 14 for the chardonnay grapes and a day later for the pinot noir. The musts showed exceptional ripeness, with remarkable finesse and roundness, heralding a champagne of great structure and balance.
