Finca Caraballas Chardonnay Sobre Lías 2021

Finca Las Caraballas on lees is an organic white wine made with chardonnay grapes from Castilla y León. The organic production of CARABALLAS wines responds to a form of quality oenology based on the evolution of the grape's own characteristics, using as technological aids the most innocuous and closest to the grape.

Coming from the organic cultivation of 2.5 hectares of Chardonnay located in Finca Las Caraballas in Medina del Campo (Valladolid), Caraballas Chardonnay Lías Ecológico is, however, its warmest creation, its wine most identified with the south. With an oxidative ageing process typical of fortified wines, it is a nod to one of Spain's great treasures: Sherry.

From the moment you pour the first glass, it starts to catch your attention. Its golden glints divert your attention to the back label in search of a possible answer to that mysterious colour and it is there where you find two possible solutions: the fifteen months it has spent in contact with its lees and the fact that it is a 100% organic wine.

Tasting notes of Finca Las Caraballas Sobre Lías

Golden yellow in colour, clean and bright with steely tones.

On the nose it has a fruity aroma (reinette, ripe pineapple and apricot) and succulent aromas of dried fruits.

Silky on the palate, with a delicate acidity and a light floral aftertaste.

Caraballas Chardonnay Lías pairs excellently with all kinds of fish, paellas and grilled meats.
