Four steps 2012 is a red wine of the D.O. Bierzo made by Bodegas Cuatro Paso. Four bear footprints discovered in a magnificent vineyard in the highest areas of the Bierzo inspired the name of this wine.
Four strong steps that are essential to achieve excellence: selection of land, care of the vine, ideal climate and dedication in the elaboration.
At the foot of the Camino de Santiago, stands an 18TH century family mansion with spacious rooms and high ceilings. Its foundations have always known the art of winemaking and its soils were stained thousands of times with the must of Mencía. Abandoned for a few decades, which was a winery, it can remain always. It's the perfect place. In 2003, four steps were born.
Quickly, the stables give way to the wineries and the old concrete tanks serve as foster ships. The old and the modern combine perfectly in favor of a good result. The spirit that had been lost, is again present. It smells like wine. There's nothing like feeling at home.
