La Salvación Godello 2021

La Salvación is a Godello, harvested from centenary vines that have grown among Mencía vines. Its name perfectly describes the eagerness to recover the centenary Godello grapes that are forgotten in the vineyards after the Mencía harvest.

This Godello by César Márquez comes from two plots of vines over 100 years old planted on sandy and clay soils, at an altitude of 550 metres above sea level.

The grapes are always harvested by hand to ensure the quality of the grapes.

Tasting notes of La Salvación

Aromas of stone fruit such as peach, apricot, hints of dried fruit, aniseed and hints of mountain herbs. On the other hand, its aromas of pastry and soft toasted notes reveal its time in oak barrels.

On the palate, it maintains its freshness but with elegant, creamy sensations that are not heavy. Its sapid finish, thanks to an incredible and very unusual salinity, delights us and makes it different from other whites in the area. Tasty and clearly addictive.
