To create the first limited edition whisky in a new series of annual releases, The Macallan Whiskey Maker Polly Logan embarked on a unique journey to Girona, Spain, where she immersed herself in the world of chocolate, exploring the chocolate-making process and discovering the distinctive flavour profiles at Casa Cacao.
In homage to his chocolate influence, The Macallan Harmony Collection Rich Cacao is presented in a 100% recyclable gift box, made from discarded cocoa pod shells.
A by-product in the chocolate-making process, these shells would have been sent to landfill or destroyed, but now they have been reborn with renewed purpose.
