Monastrell wine pack consisting of 3 Sericis Cepas Viejas Monastrell and 3 Lavia Plus wines.
Sericis Cepas Viejas Monastrell is a wine of the D.O.P. Alicante produced by Bodegas Murviedro. Harvested by hand. Destemming and gentle crushing of the grapes. Prefermentative maceration at low temperature for 3-4 days, addition of selected yeasts controlling the fermentation at 26ºC maximum temperature. Devatting after 21 days maceration. Aged for a minimum of 12 months in French oak barrels.
Lavia Plus + is a red wine produced by Bodegas Lavia, made from 100% organic Monastrell. Aged for 12 months in 500 litre French oak barrels.
Sericis Cepas Viejas Monastrell has an intense red colour with purple tones. Aroma of high intensity, highlighting the very ripe fruit on a background of toasted oak of great elegance. Meaty, complex, with an unctuous palate, balanced tannins and a roasted finish.
Lavia Plus + has a medium cherry red colour. The nose is intense with nuances of forest fruits, hints of eucalyptus and pepper. Balanced on the palate with forest fruits predominating. A silky, fresh wine with a long finish.
