Occasionally one or two of Penderyn's finest single cask whiskies are selected as outstanding examples.

Penderyn's single cask whiskies are normally presented in handmade oak cases and may be individually numbered and/or signed by a senior member of the Penderyn team.

One of the recent single casks, Rich Oak, bottled at 59.8%, won a gold medal at the IWSC awards in the Single Cask category worldwide.

Tasting notes

Nose: soft aromas of vanilla and fruity notes give way to green apple and banana.

PALATE: starts with the sweetness of vanilla and toffee. Woody notes emerge.

FINISH: follows a slight bitterness that leaves a long, lingering freshness in the mouth.
