The red wine Pissarreshas been elaborated with the oldest vineyards of Garnacha and Cariñena with an average age of 70 years OF the Costers del Priorat winery, with a small proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards, all of them with very low yields and planted in t Errazas Slate, which brings its special mineral taste.
Equilibrium of fruit and minerality, of Samso and Garnacha, of meatiness and vegetal freshness. Harmony between the fruits of the two large farms, Mas Alsera in Torroja and Sant Martí in Bellmunt: A link between the rustic center and the warm south of the region. All this is Pissarres, the most representative wine of this winery and the reference to understand the personality of Costers del Priorat. A friendly and honest welcome.
Vinification is made in stainless steel tanks of 3,000 and 5,000 liters, and a small part in cement tubs. The varieties are wine separately to obtain the maximum expressive potential of cadauva. Ageing is carried out during 12 months in French oak barrels of 225 and 500 liters. Part of the barrels are new, part are second year. Malolactic fermentation occurs spontaneously inside the barrels.

The world of colors and aromatic sensations that we find walking along any path of Priorat is concentrated in this wine which is the mirror of our region. Dark red, depth, energy and wisdom of the ' Costers ' selected. It's complex in the mouth. It gathers ripe fruits, memories of the Mediterranean scrub and also a characteristic sharp and cold note, mark of the extreme minerality of the slate soils of Llicorella.
