Quinta da Muradella Bastardo 2016

Quinta da Muradella Bastardo is a red wine of the Quinta da Muradella winery, with Monterrei Denomination of Origin, from Galicia, made from Bastardo grapes (Merenzao).

The grapes were fermented with indigenous yeasts in oak barrels. Maturation took place in 400-litre oak barrels for 12 months.

Sight: It has a cherry colour with a low robe.

Nose: The nose has a moderate intensity with notes of red fruit, earthy notes, spices with a balsamic and slightly saline background.

Palate: In the mouth it has a medium structure with a somewhat rustic but fine-grained tannin. It is light, fresh, slightly bitter and saline with a long and persistent finish. It is a wine that can be enjoyed now, but which will improve over the next 2 or 3 years.
