Portuguese gin Premium Red Premium Gin is the culmination of a dream of its creator, João Guterres, and his sons, Hugo and Marco.
Dedicated for decades to the aromatic plants gastronomic, decided to gather their knowledge to elaborate a gin that had as main ingredient the parakeet, a fruit that apparently only it is possible to obtain in Fontoura, a parish of his native Valença, where its distillation is also made.
The fruit of that work was red Premium Gin, a gin made with poppy, which gives the intense red color that also gives name, Perico, which endows a flavor similar to the pear but more intense and sweet , besides the essential juniper and others such as Angelica, Loureira, willow, lemongrass, wild blackberries, dill, lavender, orange, catnip and Elder.
