Post-fermentation maceration with the skins, with light treading for a week. Controlled temperature between 25ºC and 26ºC. Malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Aged for 16 months in 225L French oak barrels - 20% new barrels and 80% second use barrels.
Tasting notes of Termes
Termes has a ripe cherry red colour with ruby reflections. Clean and bright.
Good intensity with hints of black fruits, spicy notes and tobacco leaf. Serious, ample and with a mineral background that adds depth and elegance.
Expressive entry, friendly, good breadth and balanced. Reminiscences of ripe black fruits, cinnamon, cedar and menthol notes in the background that add depth. The tannin is sweet and gentle with a good acidity that makes it long and expressive.
