Txakoli Gaintza is a white wine produced by Bodega Gaintza with Hondarrabi Zuri and Gros Manseng grapes, within the Getariako Txakolina denomination of origin.
After a manual grape harvest selection at the end of September, it is fermented in stainless steel tanks at 14ºC, for a careful alcoholic fermentation, keeping the endogenous carbonic gas of natural origin in dissolution and allowing the aromas to be preserved. After this, it is aged on its own lees for 5 to 10 months.
TASTING NOTES FOR TXAKOLI GAINTZA
Txakoli Gaintza is pale yellow with greenish reflections, bright and clean in the glass. Presence of very fine bubbles due to the process of elaboration at low temperature. The aroma of white fruit stands out, with a background of lemon citrus.
Explosion of freshness and intensity with a very integrated acidity. It is pleasant and provides a fresh sensation with citrus notes. It has a light alcohol content with balanced acidity, great expression and an unmistakable personality of salinity and Atlantic influence.
