Usarralde Tempranillo 2018

Usarralde Tempranillo is a red wine made by Châpeau Wines in the D.O.Ca. Rioja with Tempranillo grapes.

Usarralde Tempranillo is the fruit of Tempranillo vines located on 70-80 years old clay-gravel soils in a small valley near Alfaro (La Rioja).

The fruit of these vines and the ageing for 6 months in barrels, results in this Usarralde Tempranillo, a faithful to the classic Rioja style of wine.

Usarralde Tempranillo Tasting Notes

Appearance: Bright violet colour, typical of a wine close to carbonic maceration, very clean and crystalline.

Nose: Varietal and vegetal aromas in the nose in the still glass and then a slight touch of toasted wood, very integrated with the fruit and flowers that this type of wine gives us.

Palate: Vibrant, fresh, elegant wine, not at all serious. A very enjoyable and energetic wine that can even be consumed at a lower temperature.
