Wild Turkey 81 was born out of an initiative to create the perfect distillate for many bartenders and connoisseurs in the region. The bottle of Wild Turkey is aged for 6 to 8 years in American oak barrels that enhance the brand's signature vanilla and caramel flavours.

The result is a bourbon from this type of distillery that is made from the finest rye and aged in Ozark, a variety of American oak. It is aged for 6 to 8 years before bottling. It is characterised by sweet aromas and luscious toasty flavours.

Tasting Notes for Wild Turkey 81

This deep amber-coloured bourbon has a nose full of fruit, vanilla and toasted oak.

On the palate, the flavour is smooth, sweet with burnt caramel notes. It drinks very well in shots or combined with cola.
