Description

Discover the exclusivity and unmatched elegance of Savage Girl Next Door, one of the most singular and coveted expressions of Syrah from South Africa and the entire world.

Crafted by acclaimed winemaker Duncan Savage, this cult red wine comes from a tiny vineyard of just 0.38 hectares located in Fish Hoek, on the Cape Peninsula, only 3.2 kilometers from the cold waters of the Atlantic Ocean. This extreme proximity to the sea gives the vineyard a marked maritime character, where strong winds and sandy gravel soils drastically limit yields, producing grapes of extraordinary concentration and freshness.

In the cellar, the philosophy of minimal intervention is key: 50% whole clusters are used, fermenting spontaneously, followed by gentle basket pressing and 10 months of aging in foudres and 500-liter used French oak barrels. The result is an ethereal Syrah that recalls the great wines of the Northern Rhône (Côte-Rôtie), but with an unmistakable South African identity.

Savage Girl Next Door is not just a wine; it is a true collector's gem for lovers of liquid luxury and extreme terroirs. Acquiring this bottle is to ensure an unrepeatable sensory experience, where the purity of the fruit and the influence of the ocean merge in perfect harmony.
