Description

The Classica Hacienda López de Haro Gran Reserva Tinto is much more than a wine; it is a liquid tribute to the history and tradition of Rioja Alta.

Produced only in exceptional vintages, this red is part of the 'Classica' collection, designed to recover the essence of the 'Grandes Reservas' that brought world fame to the region. Born in the old vineyards of San Vicente de la Sonsierra, under the influence of the Sierra de Toloño, this wine is a masterful blend of Tempranillo and Graciano.

Its long aging of 42 months in French and American oak barrels gives it a sublime aromatic complexity, where ripe fruit intertwines with notes of fine woodwork, pipe tobacco, and sweet spices. On the palate, it offers a silky and enveloping texture, with tannins polished by time and a vibrant acidity that promises extraordinary longevity. It is an oenological jewel that captures the timeless elegance of Rioja's great fine wines.

Ruby red color with a tile-colored rim. Complex nose with aromas of stewed black fruit, cigar box, leather, and vanilla. Silky, balanced palate with a long and persistent finish.
