Description

Bendito Destino Hontanares is a cult red wine from the D.O. Ribera del Duero, crafted by the prestigious sommelier Terry Kandylis.

It comes from a unique 0.30-hectare plot in Canalejas de Peñafiel, located at an altitude of over 920 meters. This field blend from centenarian vines planted in 1921 combines 80% Tempranillo with Garnacha, Bobal, and white varieties such as Albillo Mayor.

Aged for 16 months in French oak barrels, it stands out for its Burgundian profile, far removed from the traditional opulence of the region. It offers exceptional freshness, mineral tension, and a silky texture. A gem of extremely limited production, ideal for collectors and lovers of minimal intervention wines with great aging potential.

Tasting Note of Bendito Destino Hontanares:

Bright ruby color.

The nose displays notes of crunchy red fruits, wild herbs, chalk, and subtle spices.

The palate is fluid, medium-bodied, with fine tannins, vibrant acidity, and a long, mineral finish.
