The Gramona Brut Imperial Gran Reserva is a prestigious sparkling wine, produced in the Cava Designation of Origin (Sant Sadurní d'Anoia, Penedès, Spain), aged for a minimum of 50 months in the bottle.
This careful production using the traditional method gives it a silky texture, aromatic complexity, and a fine, persistent bubble.
This cava is made with a careful selection of Xarel·lo, Macabeo, and Parellada grapes, along with a small percentage of Chardonnay, grown using organic and biodynamic farming principles, respecting the natural balance of the vineyard and ensuring a pure expression of the terroir.
Tasting notes of Gramona Imperial Gran Reserva:
Appearance: Pale golden color with bright reflections, accompanied by fine, elegant bubbles that gently unfold in the glass.
Complex and sophisticated nose, with notes of ripe fruits such as baked apple and peach, combined with nuances of candied citrus. Subtle hints of toasted bread, nuts (hazelnuts and almonds), honey, and white flowers are also perceived, providing depth and refinement.
The palate is full-bodied, creamy, and well-structured, with perfectly balanced acidity that provides freshness. Its bubbles are fine and well-integrated, offering a silky texture. Flavors of ripe white fruits, citrus, brioche, and nuts predominate, with a long, elegant, and slightly mineral finish.
