Domaine des Closiers Les Closiers is a red wine made from 100% Cabernet Franc that faithfully represents the character of Saumur-Champigny. Sourced from vineyards planted on clay-limestone soils, this wine reflects the mineral richness of its terroir. Vinification begins with a cold maceration prior to fermentation, which can last over a month. Gentle pump-overs every 1–2 days preserve the elegance of the fruit. The wine is then aged in stainless steel tanks for 8 to 10 months to maintain its freshness and varietal purity before bottling.
