Mezcal Los Danzantes Joven Arroqueño is a handcrafted mezcal produced in Miahuatlán de Porfirio Díaz, Oaxaca, from cultivated Arroqueño maguey (Agave americana). Made under the direction of master mezcalera Karina Abad Rojas, this spirit captures the richness and complexity of Oaxacan wild agave through a traditional process that honors the roots of mezcal.

The agave is cooked in a conical earthen oven using white oak and mesquite wood. It is then crushed with a stone tahona pulled by horse, followed by natural fermentation in wooden vats with native yeasts. Finally, it undergoes double distillation in a 250-liter copper still, preserving the purity and character of the agave.

Tasting notes

Clear in appearance. On the nose, it offers an intense aromatic expression with notes of ripe mango, banana leaves, chocolate, and caramel. On the palate, it reveals deep flavors of toasted seeds like almond, along with tones of chocolate, pear, and butter, giving it a silky and balanced texture.
