Le Fleq Blanco 2024
D.O Jerez-Xeres-Sherry
Cañocazo Palomino Fino Montúa Perruna
Description
Le Fleq Blanco is an extremely limited production wine gem (around 2,000 bottles) crafted by the renowned specialist Flequi Berruti in the Marco de Jerez.
This still white wine pays tribute to the purity of the Andalusian terroir, standing out for its blend dominated by the Palomino Fino variety (91%), complemented by native varieties such as Cañocazo, Mantúo, and Perruno. Organically cultivated on the iconic albariza soils, the wine ferments and ages for 10 months in 500-liter French oak barrels under a subtle velo de flor (veil of flor). The result is an Atlantic-profile white, vibrant and deeply mineral, which perfectly balances the creaminess of the wood with an unparalleled saline freshness. Ideal for lovers of terroir wines with character and elegance.
Tasting Note of Le Fleq Blanco:
Appearance: Bright straw yellow color with subtle greenish reflections and a slight natural turbidity.
Nose: Medium intensity aromas of green apple, pear, notes of dried fruits, fennel, and a marked mineral and saline character.
Palate: Fresh and unctuous entry, creamy mouthfeel with excellent acidity, notes of yeast, and a long, persistent, and slightly bitter finish that provides elegance.
