Pago de los Capellanes Doroteo 2018 is a tribute to the winery's tradition and family legacy.

Made with 100% Tempranillo from the oldest vines on the estate, this wine represents the ultimate expression of the Pedrosa de Duero terroir, in the heart of the Ribera del Duero. Its artisanal vinification and careful aging in French oak barrels give it exceptional elegance and complexity.

Tasting Notes of Pago de los Capellanes Doroteo

Appearance: Intense cherry red color with garnet reflections and a deep, bright and clean layer.

Nose: Complex and refined aromas with an intense presence of ripe black fruits, such as plums and blackberries, accompanied by floral notes and spicy nuances of cloves and black pepper. Subtle hints of cocoa, licorice and minerals are perceived that provide depth.

Taste: Powerful, structured and silky. Fine and well-integrated tannins that provide balance and persistence. The fresh acidity enhances its elegance and provides a long and harmonious finish, with hints of ripe fruit, spices and a light toasted touch.
