Description

Ridge Monte Bello Cabernet is an iconic red wine from California, crafted at the legendary Monte Bello vineyard located in the Santa Cruz Mountains. The limestone soils and cool climate bring elegance and structure, perfectly reflecting the purity of the terroir.

The grapes are hand-harvested from 22 selected parcels and fermented with native yeasts through a maceration process that extracts the best of each variety. The wine then ages for 19 months in new oak barrels (92% American and 8% French), achieving a perfect balance between power and refinement.

Tasting Notes

Deep dark red color with garnet reflections.

On the nose, it reveals aromas of blackcurrant, cassis, plums, and blackberries, with hints of cedar, graphite, and fine spices.

On the palate, it is structured and elegant, with firm tannins, balanced acidity, and a long, mineral finish. A deep and harmonious wine that combines the strength of the Monte Bello vineyard with the elegance of meticulous aging.
