Description

Zárate El Palomar is a white wine of great personality produced in the Rías Baixas appellation, within the Salnés Valley.

It comes from a small historic plot of very old Albariño vines, grown on sandy granite soils that provide freshness, minerality, and a unique expression of the Galician terroir. The Zárate winery, a benchmark in traditional and respectful viticulture, conveys through this wine the authenticity and singular character of one of the most emblematic vineyards in the area.

Tasting notes

Visually, it displays a bright straw-yellow color with greenish reflections.

On the nose, it offers great aromatic intensity, with notes of stone fruits such as apricot and peach, ripe citrus, white flowers, and a characteristic saline and mineral background.

On the palate, it is fresh, elegant, and deep, with vibrant acidity, silky texture, and a long, persistent finish where fruity and mineral nuances reappear, enhancing its Atlantic character and great aging potential.
