A 100% Tinto Fino from very old vineyards, located in unique terroirs that give the wine concentration, structure and unmistakable depth. Limited in production and designed for ageing, it is an essential red wine in any cellar that aspires to bring together the great wines of Spain.
The Aalto winery, renowned for its meticulous work in the vineyard and winery, has created a wine of great concentration and elegance in this vintage, aged in French oak barrels to give it complexity and extraordinary ageing potential. Tasting Notes of Aalto PS
Appearance: Intense cherry red with violet edges, showing its youth and great concentration.
Nose: Deep aromas of ripe black fruits (blackberry, blueberry, plum), spicy notes of clove and pepper, along with subtle nuances of cocoa, liquorice and toast from its ageing in barrels.
Palate: Powerful and structured, with silky tannins and a balanced acidity that provides freshness. Flavours of jammy black fruit, dark chocolate and a mineral background that provides depth. Long and elegant finish, with a persistent aftertaste of sweet spices and toast.
