Bollinger's prestige vintage, produced only when a vintage reaches a perfect balance: this is Bollinger's interpretation of an exceptional year.
The mythical and timeless property, the Maison de la Champagne Bollinger is part of the small circle of the great Champagne houses. The style of Champagne Bollinger is defined by the exemplary precision brought to every moment of winemaking. Respect for tradition, the hand-rimming of the bottles, the corking of the magnum reserve bottles, the last remaining cooperage in the Champagne region, this taste for excellence symbolises the entire Champagne Bollinger culture. More than an art, it is a heritage.
The La Grande Année 2012 vineyard is composed of 21 exceptional vintages from the Côte des Blancs and the Montagne de Reims. Most of the chardonnays that complete the blend are from Ay and Verzenay for the Pinot Noir, mainly from Le Mesnil-sur-Oger and Oiry.
