Description

Finca Montalvillo is a white wine made from a carefully selected group of vineyard plots located on the slopes of the Sierra de Yerga, in Eastern Rioja.

Clay-limestone soils and areas covered with pebbles add complexity to this blend, composed of Maturana Blanca from the highest and steepest parts of the estate, and Garnacha Blanca from the lower, flatter zones.

Fermentation takes place mainly in stainless steel tanks over 10 days, while a small portion of the wine ferments and matures for four months in French oak barrels, adding subtle and elegant nuances.

Tasting notes of Finca Montalvillo

Pale golden color, bright with delicate greenish highlights.

On the nose, it is intense and floral, with expressive notes of white and stone fruits that make it very appealing.

On the palate, it is flavorful, with good structure, well-balanced acidity, and a marked sensation of freshness. It stands out for its defined personality and a persistent, full, and very pleasant finish. Ideal for those seeking a Rioja white wine with character and elegance.
