Jameson Black Barrel is a Scotch whisky distilled three times and ripened in barrels of sherry and bourbon, black barrel is a blended whiskey of still whiskeys and grain whiskeys. Unlike the rest, the bourbon casks are carbonized a second time. Black Barrel presents the emblematic softness of Original Jameson, with accentuated aromatic notes of spices and walnuts, the sweetness of vanilla and the flavor of sherry fruit.

Jameson Black Barrel has aromas of sugar caramel with butter and sugar caramel with milk from the whiskey of grain and notes of pepper from the still whiskey. Fruits like peach, damask and ripe apples contributed by the casks of Jerez.
In the mouth the flavor is intense and enhanced-the grain whiskey, ripened in bourbon casks carbonized meticulously to the flame, delivers accented aromatic notes of spices and walnut and the sweetness of vanilla. While the still whiskey, ripened in casks of sherry, contributes the flavors of the fruits.
