Jesús Madrazo Num. IV 2019

Jesús Madrazo Num. IV is a red wine elaborated in the D.O.Ca. Rioja with Tempranillo, Graciano, Garnacha and Merlot by Jesús Madrazo.

This red wine bears the prestigious guarantee name of Jesús Madrazo, who has incorporated it as part of his personal project. In this vintage, he has taken the bold decision to incorporate a foreign grape to soften the tannins, which makes it unique. The composition of this vintage is 70% Tempranillo, 14% Graciano, 6% Garnacha and 10% Merlot.

The winemaking process includes malolactic fermentation, which took place in barrels (70%) and in stainless steel tanks (30%) for 15 days. Subsequently, the wine was aged for 14 months in oak barrels (half American and half French).

Tasting Notes by Jesús Madrazo Num. IV

The result is a delicate wine but with great power and balance, with a remarkable potential for superb ageing. Its colour is a dark cherry, almost with cherry tones, and a violet rim.

On the nose, intense aromas of ripe red and black fruits, accompanied by notes of wild flowers, smoke and minerals.

On the palate, its balance and roundness stand out, with lively but noble tannins and an impressive aftertaste. The finish is long and persistent, leaving a memorable sensation on the palate.
