Description
Pittacum is a red wine of the D.O. Bierzo 100% Mencía grape. Wine is a product of the land and is necessarily associated with its territory. When we drink a bottle of Pittacum it must transport us to the place of origin and serve as a vehicle to perceive and feel the nuances and essence of the Berciana earth and its climate. A healthy and pleasurable feeling.
It remains ocho months in cask, in which the wine has been in the dark and cool cellar without making a single racking. Then bottle and start another long rest for two more years.
Pittacum Tasting Note
Pittacum iscolored, with elegant nose. Live and fresh red fruits, spices, Chinese ink and minerals. Smooth, juicy mouth that ends with a long finish.
