Rocafosca Negre 2023
D.O Priorat
Garnacha Tinta
Description
Rocafosca is a red wine from the D.O.Q. Priorat produced by Costers del Priorat winery using Carignan and Grenache.
Rocafosca, the flagship wine of Costers del Priorat, embodies the balance between fruit and minerality, blending Carignan and Grenache into perfect harmony. Sourced from the Mas Alsera estate in Torroja and Sant Martí in Bellmunt, this wine reflects the essence of Priorat, from its rugged center to the warm southern part of the region.
Crafted through artisanal winemaking, including manual grape selection and the use of indigenous yeasts, each variety is vinified separately to capture its full potential. Aging in Slavonian oak foudres and amphorae adds complexity and character.
