Plantation Xaymaca is an aged English-style rum made by Plantation with double ageing: in the Caribbean and in France.
Xaymaca Special Dry is a blend of rums distilled in the old John Dore still at Long Pond and Vendôme in Clarendon. The idea is to boldly assert the powerful and expressive character of these rums. Ageing in the tropical environment for 1-3 years in bourbon casks and continental ageing for 1 year in French casks.
Cognac Ferrand is a cognac producer located in the Grand Champagne Cognac region of France. For years, this company has had a special relationship with a variety of rum producers in the Caribbean. This relationship is based on the rum producer's need for quality oak barrels to age their rum. Based on this relationship, Cognac Ferrand is able to acquire certain batches of AGED and unique rums from various Caribbean sources, which they bring back to France and finish in their own facilities in their own cognac casks. To bring these special rums to market, Cognac Ferrand created the line of rums known as Plantation Rum.
