Sentada sobre la Bestia is a red wine made from Monastrell, Garnacha Tintorera, Graciano, Garnacha, Tempranillo and Malvasía in the Valencia PDO by the Fil-loxera & Cia winery.
Malolactic fermentation 50% in barrel and 50% in tank, and ageing of 6 months in barrel and tank.
A winery with a limited production, from its own land and with an almost artisan production.
Tasting Notes of Sitting on the Beast
Colour: Intense red colour and medium depth, glyceric in the glass and very bright, with purple reflections.
Palate: It is balsamic and has notes of cocoa powder, sweet spices and honey with a lively palate, quite light and fresh. Pleasantly marked tannin. Balanced wine, with a marked Mediterranean character, sweet with a fruity and fresh finish. Pleasant and different.
