Sommos Colección Syrah 2018

Sommos Syrah is a red wine elaborated with Syrah by Bodegas Sommos of the protected designation of origin Somontano.

The vineyard is trained in Cordone Libero in such a way that the plant is trained on a wire formation (1,4 - 1,6m), on which the vegetation is freely arranged, favouring a shading of the fruit and a vegetation very similar to the one we get in the classic Spanish vase.

The height of this formation makes it more difficult for water and nutrients to reach the fruit, generating small berries, but with a high concentration of aromas and tannins.

Aged for 12 months in a selection of French oak barrels.

Sommos Syrah Tasting Notes

Colour: Red with deep purple hues.
Nose: Ripe red fruits and fruits of the forest. With floral notes and some spices such as laurel and pink pepper.
Palate: Fruity, with a balanced acidity and a long finish.
