Description
Viña Mayor reserva is a red wine reserve of the Ribera del Duero denomination of Origin elaborated by Bodegas y Viñedos Viña Mayor.
Selected grape of vineyards with an average age between 50 and 70 years, since they provide concentration, and noble tannins that give support necessary for the later ageing in casks.
Ageing in French and American oak Bordeaux casks.
Tasting note of Viña Mayor Reserva
Viña Mayor Reserva is of deep layer, with Bordeaux edging and Cardenalicios reflections, clean and shiny.
Intense and expressive nose, with black fruits and notes of elegant ageing and complexity. Nuances of cocoa and balsamic. With a good fruit support of ripe grapes.
Wide and voluminous flavor, elegant and long aftertaste. Powerful in the mouth, with a silky tannin and a very integrated noble wood.
