JC Boisset Nuits-Saint-Georges “Les Ursulines” Blanc is a rare and distinctive white wine within the traditionally red-centric AOC Nuits-Saint-Georges appellation.

Made with 100% Chardonnay grapes, this Burgundian white wine perfectly expresses the elegance, minerality, and complexity that characterize the great whites of the northern Côte de Nuits, in Burgundy, France.

Produced by Maison Jean-Claude Boisset, renowned for its minimalist and artisanal approach, this wine is fermented in French oak barrels and aged on the lees to develop texture and depth, without losing freshness or precision.

Its name, “Les Ursulines,” pays homage to the former convent neighboring the winery and symbolizes the serenity and balance that defines this cuvée.

Tasting Notes for Nuits Saint Georges les Ursulines:

Appearance: Pale gold color with greenish reflections, bright and clean.

Nose: Subtle and elegant aromas of white flowers, stone fruit (peach, apricot), and fresh citrus, against a background of fresh butter, toasted hazelnut, and a delicate chalky minerality.

Palate: Fresh and linear attack, with well-integrated acidity and a smooth texture thanks to aging on the lees. Flavors of green apple, ripe lemon, notes of fine oak, and a lingering, elegant, and slightly saline finish. Perfect for pairing with seafood, fatty fish, or poultry with light sauces.
