Domaine Jules Desjourneys Chénas Le Jugement Dernier is a red wine from the Chénas appellation, one of the most highly regarded in Beaujolais.

Made from old Gamay vines grown on granitic soils, it reflects the precision and unique style of Jules Desjourneys, a winery renowned for its artisanal approach and absolute respect for the terroir. This is a wine of great character, combining Burgundian elegance with the intensity and authenticity of high-altitude Gamay.

Tasting notes

In appearance, it shows a deep ruby red color with violet highlights.

On the nose, it reveals an intense aromatic palette with notes of ripe red and black fruits, violets, fine spices and a subtle mineral background.

On the palate, it is structured and balanced, with firm and silky tannins, fresh acidity and great persistence. Its long and complex finish leaves fruity, floral and mineral notes that highlight the nobility of the Chénas terroir.
