Description

Abadía Retuerta Pago Negralada is a high-end red wine made from Tempranillo grapes selected from one of the winery's best plots, located on the Golden Mile of the Ribera del Duero.

This wine comes from vineyards planted on gravel and sand soils with a limestone base, which gives the grape structure and elegance. Aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, Pago Negralada reflects the authentic character of Tempranillo with exceptional complexity and depth.

Tasting notes of Abadía Retuerta Pago Negralada 

Appearance: Intense cherry red with violet edges, high and bright layer.

Nose: Complex and deep aromas, with notes of ripe black fruits such as blackberries and plums, accompanied by hints of liquorice, sweet spices, cocoa and subtle balsamic nuances. The well-integrated wood provides elegance with hints of vanilla and roasted notes

Pale: Powerful and structured entry, with firm but silky tannins. Its balanced acidity enhances the fruit and provides freshness, while its long and persistent finish leaves notes of dark chocolate, spices and tobacco.
