Krug Brut Rose 29 Edition
D.O Champagne
Pinot Noir Chardonnay Pinot Meunier
Description
Krug Brut Rosé 29ème Édition is a masterpiece in the world of Champagne that redefines luxury and sophistication. This exceptional rosé Champagne is the result of the bold vision of the fifth generation of the Krug family, who dreamed of creating a rosé that did not exist — one that could be recreated each year with unparalleled elegance. The 29th Edition is built around the harvest of 2017, a year that delivered a generous and vibrant fruit expression.
To achieve its characteristic complexity, the Maison’s winemakers have masterfully blended 29 different wines from 5 distinct vintages, with the youngest from 2017 and the oldest from 2010. The final composition highlights 44% Pinot Noir (including 11% traditionally macerated Pinot Noir to provide color, structure and spicy notes), 34% Chardonnay bringing elegance and freshness, and 22% Meunier. After resting for approximately seven years in Krug’s historic cellars, this Champagne develops remarkable breadth and depth.
Its versatility allows it to replace a great red wine at the table, pairing perfectly with savory dishes, game meats, lamb or spiced recipes.
