Muga Reserva Seleccion Especial Magnum 2019 Estuche
D.O RIOJA D.O. C
garnacha Mazuelo tempranillo Graciano
Description
Muga Reserva Selección Especial Magnum is a red wine crafted by the prestigious Bodegas Muga in Rioja, presented in an imposing 1.5-liter Magnum format. It is ideal for large celebrations, guaranteeing exceptional evolution in the bottle. It is a blend of Tempranillo, Garnacha, Mazuelo, and Graciano from old vineyards cultivated on the clay-limestone terraces of the Montes Obarenes and the Sierra Cantabria.
The vintage, has yielded grapes of perfect ripeness and unparalleled balance. In the winery, vinification follows artisanal methods: fermentation in oak vats, followed by 26 months of aging in French oak barrels made in the Muga family’s own cooperage. Subsequently, the wine is traditionally clarified with egg whites and rests for a minimum of 18 months in the bottle before being released to the market. Its Magnum format not only provides a spectacular presence on the table but also slows down micro-oxygenation, allowing the wine to age more leisurely and harmoniously, developing superior aromatic complexity over the years.
