Description

Philippe Pacalet Ladoix Blanc is an exceptional natural white wine crafted in the Côte de Beaune, Burgundy. Sourced from Chardonnay vineyards over 30 years old cultivated under biodynamic principles on clay-limestone soils, this wine reflects the purity of the terroir without artifice. Vinification is carried out with minimal intervention, using indigenous yeasts and with no added sulfites during fermentation. The result is a white wine of great tension, freshness, and saline mineral character, balanced by fruit ripeness.

Tasting Note Philippe Pacalet Ladoix Blanc

Visual phase: Bright straw-yellow color with greenish reflections.

Olfactory phase: Notes of green apple, pear, lemon zest, white flowers, and a marked mineral character of pumice and flint.

Gustatory phase: Fresh and saline entry, unctuous and enveloping texture, with a long, persistent, and elegantly citrus finish.

Value Points

• Exceptional Terroir: Grapes from vineyards over 30 years old in the 'Toppe d'Avignon' climat on Comblachien clay-limestone soils.

• Natural Philosophy: Production without added yeasts, unfined and unfiltered, and with minimal use of sulfites before bottling.

• 2022 Vintage: A warm vintage that provides an excellent concentration of ripe fruit, perfectly balanced by a vibrant mineral acidity.
