Quinta da Muradella El Pliegue is a Galician red wine produced in the DO Monterrei by José Luis Mateo, a benchmark of artisanal viticulture in Galicia.
It is crafted from a blend of native varieties such as Bastardo, Caíño Longo, Carabuñenta, Mencía and others, sourced from high-altitude vineyards cultivated under sustainable and minimal intervention practices. Its style reflects the authenticity of the granitic and slate terroir of Monterrei, combining Atlantic freshness, complexity and elegance, making it a wine with great personality and aging potential.
Tasting notes
On the eye, it shows a deep cherry red color with violet hues.
