Description

Discover the exclusivity of Libamus Dulce de Mencía, an unprecedented oenological jewel crafted by Bodegas Godelia in the heart of the Bierzo Designation of Origin.

This wine represents a milestone in international viticulture, being recognized as the only natural sweet wine in the world made entirely from the indigenous Mencía variety. This vintage stands out for its exceptional climatic conditions that allowed for a perfect over-ripening of the clusters directly on the vine, naturally concentrating sugars and aromas before its meticulous manual harvest.

The production process of Libamus is a work of technical art. After a strict selection in vineyards over 80 years old planted on quartzite and slate soils at an altitude of 700 meters, the grapes undergo cryomaceration at 5ºC to extract their maximum fruit expression. Subsequently, its 8-month aging in 400-liter fine-grained French oak barrels grants it unparalleled complexity and elegance.

Ideal for collectors and lovers of rare wines, Libamus Dulce de Mencía is the perfect choice to elevate any gastronomic experience, pairing perfectly with dark chocolate desserts, high-intensity blue cheeses, or even big game dishes. A 50cl bottle that encloses the purest and most concentrated essence of the Bierzo terroir.

Tasting note of Libamus Dulce de Mencía:
