Description

Remelluri Blanco Magnum Case, a true oenological gem from the DOCa Rioja. Crafted by the visionary Telmo Rodríguez at the Granja Nuestra Señora de Remelluri winery, this wine is the result of a meticulous selection of nine grape varieties, including Viura, Malvasía, Garnacha Blanca, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Viognier, grown in high-altitude vineyards in Labastida. The vintage is characterized by its exceptional balance, tension, and freshness, offering a deep and multifaceted aromatic profile that evolves fascinatingly in the glass. The Magnum format (1.5 liters) not only provides an imposing visual presence, ideal for collectors, investors, and grand celebrations, but also guarantees a much slower, stable, and harmonious evolution in the bottle, significantly extending its lifespan and maximizing its future complexity. Presented in an elegant, premium wooden case, it becomes the perfect gift for true connoisseurs and lovers of exclusivity. Its artisanal aging, carried out in a combination of foudres, French oak barrels, and concrete tanks, grants it a sophisticated structure, perfectly integrated acidity, and an extraordinary cellaring capacity.

Tasting Note Remelluri Blanco

Bright golden yellow color. On the nose, it is complex and deep, highlighting aromas of stone fruit, candied citrus, dried flowers, smoky notes, and a marked mineral character. In the mouth, it is voluminous, oily, and structured, with a vibrant acidity that balances its unctuosity, culminating in a long, saline, and persistent finish.

Value Points

Exceptional Terroir: High-altitude vineyards in Labastida (Rioja Alavesa) with clay-limestone soils that provide great minerality.

Unique Coupage: Masterful blend of 9 white varieties, fermented and aged separately with indigenous yeasts.

Aging Format: The Magnum bottle (1.5L) ensures optimal micro-oxygenation, ideal for a long evolution in the cellar.

Global Recognition: Considered one of the best white wines in Spain, with consistent high scores from critics such as Parker and Peñín.

Service Protocol

Serve between 10ºC and 12ºC. It is recommended to decant 30 minutes before consumption so that it expresses all its aromatic complexity. Ideal to accompany roasted fatty fish (turbot, cod), truffled white meats, seafood rice dishes, and cured sheep cheeses.
