Description
This red wine comes from the prestigious Saint-Joseph appellation, in the heart of the Northern Rhône, and is crafted by Maxime Graillot, son of the renowned winemaker Alain Graillot.
Vinified entirely from Syrah grapes sourced from selected vineyards, it reflects the pure, expressive, and elegant character of this variety on a terroir of granite soils and steep slopes. The work in the vineyard and winery is marked by a respectful and precise approach, resulting in a wine of great authenticity, balance, and aging potential.
Tasting note
In appearance, it shows an intense and bright violet-red color.
On the nose, it offers a complex aromatic profile, with notes of ripe black fruits such as blackberry and plum, fresh violets, fine spices, black pepper, and a subtle mineral and earthy background.
On the palate, it is concentrated and elegant, with firm yet polished tannins, balanced acidity, and a silky texture that envelops the palate. The finish is long, deep, and persistent, marked by fruity, spicy, and mineral notes that faithfully reflect the character of Syrah and the typicity of Saint-Joseph.
